Calf rearing
Red Dane Farming has less than 1% dairy calf mortalities, due to a combination of the proper use of MARS pens and Milk Bar feeders, as well as the teamwork and expertise of management, including Ajs Kirk, Richard Venn and Mercy Muchakwa. Our team of experts looks forward to assisting you in raising healthy calves with consistently high growth rates and low mortalities.
Breeding
Efficient breeding follows on from high standards of calf rearing. It is essential that your heifers and cows are bred at the right time and at the right weight. Selecting the right breed of dairy cow for your environment, and using the proper artificial insemination techniques are also key.
